Accommodation Information worth reviewing:
Italy’s hotels are classified into five categories by stars. 5 star hotels are deluxe properties with extensive service and fine amenities such as concierge service, restaurants and bars, room service, fitness centers etc. 4 star hotels offer high quality accommodations, generally a lobby area, breakfast room and sometimes a restaurant. 3 star hotels are usually family owned and operated, have a breakfast room and small lobby area. Three star hotels do not have concierge service although the front desk staff is usually very helpful.

We specialize in boutique European style hotels, centrally located in the cities; many are of historical importance, and all offer private bathrooms. They have all been personally inspected.

The cost of our packages including private transfers, rail and/or rental car, hotels including breakfast and private guides for tours depend on the hotel category. If you compare these prices with those of organized tours offered by major tour companies with small groups on a motor coach, our rates are very competitive.

  
As part of EXPERIENCE ITALY'S services, we are happy to provide our clients with a customized draft itinerary and quote (based on your total budget/person).

- $95 consulting fee for customized itinerary development (non-refundable)

- $100 personalized proposal (applicable to your booking)

Process:

-Italy specialist meets with client to develop customized itinerary

-Client receives email of itinerary for review and input - email dialogue of any adjustments

-Once the itinerary is acceptable, the client completes the Proposal Authorization form authorizing the booking company to charge $100 (applicable to your booking), for the preparation of the personalized proposal-in essence, "your very own tour" describing the accommodations, the ancillary services, and the providers. Personalized proposal quotes an aggregate price per person -very similar to a cruise or group tour.

-If the personalized proposal is acceptable the booking process begins with fax to the booking company. The booking company confirms if availability can be obtained for all of the stated services and properties. Note: if the personalized proposal is not acceptable, the needed adjustments are made and resubmitted to the booking company for a revised proposal. Process resumes*.

-deposit of $100 per traveler is charged to the client credit card at the time of booking.

-final payment is required 60 days from departure and the price is adjusted to the exchange rate at that point in time.

-Documents are sent two weeks prior to departure containing maps, city information, daily detailed itinerary, instructions, vouchers, train tickets/reservations, restoranti recommendation.

There are no cost breakdowns. You will receive a total cost per person, not per item. Estimates are made in the most general sense as supply and demand are very dynamic.

Consulting fees are based on $50/hr.

All transactions conducted through Experience Italy staff.

This fee should be remitted upon receipt of the initial itinerary sketch. The initial itinerary will be available three (3) working days after Experience Italy receives your FIT request, unless a variation is agreed upon.

To proceed with your reservation and start the actual booking and confirmation process, a booking form is faxed with appropriate information and signatures to our booking organization. At that time a non refundable deposit of $100 per person is required which will be charged by the booking company directly.

If we are unable to confirm the hotels requested or a comparable property, your deposit will be returned in full. To ensure the confirmation of the listed property, delays in the process need to be avoided. The booking form states the complete list of Terms and Conditions for this transaction.
